GROW memo

Goal
     1.  To promote clarity in communications;  ie to have everybody on same page
     2.  To be goal/result oriented;
     3.  To standardize memos and other communication

Background:
     1.  Communication is essential in an organization;   IT IS WINDOW TO THE
          REST OF THE ORGANIZATION AND THE MARKET PLACE
     2. If communication is stopped, the parts of organization becomes paralyzed
         (as if suffering from stroke)
     3. Many have poor habits in communication;
         1.  Do not read dm OR GMAIL
         2.  Do not reply to the same
         3.  Do not give feedback

Options:
      1.  Disregard
      2.  Continue our poor ineffective ways
      3.  Read and do something

WTDN

1.  Employ follow the standards of GROW memo:

     G OALS   -   OBJECTIVES;  what are the results expected;    IT COULD BE
                          a subgoal or primary goal   as sales and collection.   There 
                          are only two main goals:   sales and collection.  Others are
                          intermediate goals

    REALITY   -   what is the problem deviation at the sbu.  This allows us to
                         align with the reality background of the sbu:

                        1.  Mindset of people, actual behavior
                        2.  Competition -  pricing, activities
                        3.  Regulatory, legal environment
                        4.  Power, environmental conditions:   floods, soil, elevation
                        5.  Learnings related to the topic, quotes etc, 
                        6.  Past similar events

  OPTIONS  - What are other alternative courses of action.  There are many
                       ways to kill a cat.  What are the other ways.?   What other
                       ideas can be employed?  BRAINSTORM.  THINK

 WTDN        From among the options what is the best course.  Why did you                            choose  this?  Due to cost?   Convenience, tried and true, iyon
                    lang kaya ng budget tao?

                    Format:

                   1.  5W 1h
                        What, Who, When, Why  Where;   How to do this
                   2.  ITO  (input, Throughput, Output)

The goal is to complete the task and reach the main goal -  SALES AND COLLECTION
